Carnival Cruise Line Intro

There is so much learn in the travel industry! I signed on with Cornerstone Travel as my host agency. They have provided a great deal of education to get me started in the field. I believe that learning never ends. The world continues to change and I intend to keep up with it.

To start I chose to complete the Carnival Cruise Line Diamond Level training. I can now confidently speak to all things Carnival Cruising! I learned about their new EXCLUSIVE island Celebration Key in Grand Bahama. It is situation on 65 acres with 5 portals to let you choose your fun! From elevated adult only section, kids and family friendly sections and adult only high energy or chill zones. Let’s take a moment to imagine yourself on a swing in the largest fresh water lagoon in the Bahamas? Or perhaps a villa with up to 12 of your friends and family. You get to pick your fun with Carnival! They currently have 26 ships in the fleet with 4 more on the horizon in the coming years. They cruise all over the US, Caribbean, Canada, South Pacific and Australia, the Mediterranean, Europe and Asia. With 6 exclusive destinations only available to Carnival cruisers. They are great options for families, wedding, vow renewals, celebrations and so much more. Carnival aims to make cruising accessible and budget friendly for all.

Carnival is the FIRST cruise line to be Sensory Inclusive (TM) Certified. They have partnered with Kulture City (www.kulturecity.org) to provide kits to guests with sensory/impairment needs. Becoming Sensory Inclusive™ Certified teaches crew member how to respond to guests with sensory needs, mental health challenges or invisible disabilities. It caters to everyone with sensory needs not just autism. This includes military vets with PTSD, adults with dementia, Parkinson's disease, stroke patients just to name a few. All of their crew have been trained fleet wide. Each bag contains items to help calm, relax and manage sensory overload, and include comfortable noise-cancelling headphones, fidget tools, a visual feeling thermometer and a KultureCity VIP lanyard, to help the staff easily identify a guest. The kits can be check out at guest services or in one of the kids programs, first come and first served.

I will be sailing with Carnival aboard the Paradise for a wedding at the end of April 2025. Please come back for an update and my first hand impression of Carnival Cruise Line!
